About The School of Sim Racing

Thomas Brandon is the founder of The School of Sim Racing which is a sim racing community that was designed and built to help individuals become professional level sim racers both on and off the track.

He is one of the most sought after sim racing coaches, and setup builders on the planet.

With the help of his SSR Team Members, including his right hand man Bruce "The Boss" Clingan, The School of Sim Racing has become one of the fastest growing and most respected communities in all of sim racing.

ABOUT THOMAS BRANDON & SSR:

Hello, My name is Thomas Brandon.

I'm 38 years old. I live in the podunk town of Live Oak, California. I have a beautiful wife, and two kids.

What? Is that not what you're looking for?

Well, I've got to be honest here. I really don't like creating the about page on websites. I have to write it in the third person, and I have to write about myself. This I find to be rather difficult, and just flat out weird.

So, I've decided to go a different route when it comes to this page.

At SSR we believe in creating a competitive, fun, exciting, and respectful environment in our community. The key words are... "we" and "community."

I am NOT a one man show here at SSR. In fact, I work with an amazing group of guys. So, let me introduce you to them.

Thomas Brandon

SSR FOUNDER

Thomas Brandon turned what was a hobby for him and his son, into the School of Sim Racing. With more than a decade of real world experience in dirt track racing, Tommy now seeks to help, grow and improve the world of sim racing with the SSR Community.

Bruce Clingan

AKA "THE BOSS"

Bruce has been apart of SSR from the beginning. SSR would not be what it is today, if it wasn't for Bruce Clingan. Bruce is my right hand man and takes care of everything from community admin responsibilities to running day to day operations, and everything else in between.

Ted York

NARC League Director

Ted has been a part of SSR since the early days, climbing through the ranks from community member to NARC League Director. Ted is a pillar in the SSR Community, helping new and improving drivers, to managing the weekly league races and events.

Kale Heibult

IGNITION LEAGUE DIRECTOR

Kale is an integral part of the SSR community. As the Ignition Series Director, Kale guides a huge portion of the SSR community on their path to improvement. Along with his roles as director and admin, Kale is one of the top leaders in SSR, always willing to answer questions and help others whenever he can.

Brandon "Sleepy" Garman

Team Leader of SSR Elite Sim Racing

Brandon Garman is Team Leader for SSR Elite Sim Racing, which is the race team that represents the SSR Community on a daily basis. Brandon guides a team of more than a dozen drivers and is one of the nicest and most helpful people in the entire SSR Community.

Our entire mission at SSR is built on the foundation of; helping you get better.

You see, we believe the best way for us to prove that we can help you, is by actually helping you.

I know, what a crazy concept.

Do we offer paid services? Yes.

But, I will always have free content built and designed to help you get better. Our number one priority is growing and building the community so we can help as many drivers as possible.

Now even though I cannot guarantee you success, I can guarantee this...
