School of Sim Racing
1. Who We Are
School of Sim Racing operates schoolofsimracing.net and hub.schoolofsimracing.net. We're a volunteer-run iRacing league, not a commercial entity.
2. What We Collect
Account data: Email address and name when you create a hub account via Clerk.
iRacing data: Your iRacing display name, customer ID, and race results as returned by the iRacing API for leagues you participate in.
Discord data: Your Discord user ID and username if you link your Discord account via OAuth.
Usage data: Standard web analytics (Google Analytics) including pages visited, session duration, and general location (city/country). We do not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.
3. How We Use It
- To display your standings, results, and driver profile
- To post race notifications to Discord channels you're part of
- To authenticate you when you log in
- To understand how the platform is used (analytics)
4. What We Don't Do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the platform (Clerk for auth, Neon for database hosting, Vercel for hosting). We do not use your data for advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account exists or as needed to maintain accurate league records. You can request deletion by contacting us on Discord.
