**Jared Getz Holds Off Late Charge to Win at Fairbury** Jared Getz controlled the feature from wire to wire at Fairbury Speedway, but it took everything he had to keep Shae Paulo at bay down the stretch. Paulo came absolutely flying through the field—up seven spots from ninth to second—and made it a genuine dogfight in the final laps, but Getz had just enough in the tank to hold the line and take the checkered flag. Sixteen laps led for Getz, who's clearly got the car to beat in this championship battle. Paulo's charge was the story though—that kind of aggression and pace from ninth is exactly what moves championship points. Heat racing went to Eric Witner, Glen MacTavish, and Joe Howe2. Theodore York drove it home in the consolation.
