**Tyler Wilson6 holds off late charge to take opening night at Weedsport** Tyler Wilson6 led the way when it mattered most at Weedsport, controlling the feature and fending off pressure down the stretch to secure the win in Round 1 of Outlaw Sprint Cars. The defending pace translates early as Wilson6 clicked off eight laps at the front and never surrendered the lead. Landon Cardoza made the real statement though — starting fifth and driving up to second, the hard charger made up three positions to prove he belongs in the fight. His run through the field kept the feature honest and created all the drama you want to see on opening night at a dirt oval. Chris Forsythe showed speed in qualifying with pole position but couldn't convert that into a feature result. The heat winners across the board — Shae Paulo, Trent Verstraeten, Michael Sheridan, Zach Jaynes, and Cory Austin — held their ground through their respective races. Landon Cardoza and Daniel J Adam fought through the consolation bracket to earn their spots in the main event and made every lap count. One race down, plenty of season left. Wilson6 set the tone early, but Cardoza reminded everyone the track giveth and taketh away.
