**Kenny Hoffman Dominates Volusia in Commanding Drive** Kenny Hoffman led wire-to-wire at Volusia, controlling 29 laps and never giving the field a chance to close in. It was the kind of performance that separates the contenders from the pretenders — he qualified well, won his heat, and then simply executed flawlessly in the feature when it mattered most. The real story came from the grind. Kale Heibult started deep in the field at sixteenth but clawed his way forward relentlessly, picking off car after car to finish fourth. That kind of work — twelve positions gained on a dirt oval where passing is earned, not given — is the performance that gets noticed come season's end. Jeromy Weigle and Bruce Clingan completed the podium battle behind Hoffman, who was never seriously threatened. The heat races saw victories go to Eric Summerfield, Christopher Schaffer2, and Steven Vogelsong, while Ryan Washock took the consolation.
