**Petteri Kotovaara Survives Zach Jaynes' Furious Charge at Cedar Lake** Petteri Kotovaara controlled the feature from start to finish, leading 17 laps to take the Round 2 victory, but the real story was the man hunting him down. Zach Jaynes started from 18th and absolutely demolished the field, gaining 16 positions to finish second and keep Petteri honest through the final laps. The gap never closed enough for a pass, but Jaynes' relentless assault made this a two-driver show in the closing stages. James Tiernan took the pole and won his heat to start with momentum, but he couldn't maintain that advantage when the feature began. The field sorted itself quickly once Petteri got rolling, and from there it was a matter of whether Jaynes could make up enough ground before the checkered flag. He did exactly that — a textbook hard charger performance that showed what raw pace and traffic management could accomplish. Cedar Lake's dirt surface played fair: the best cars and best drives won the day.
