**Jake Sonnentag Holds Off Tommy Brandon In Knoxville Thriller** Jake Sonnentag had the answer when it mattered most. Tommy Brandon dominated the feature with 30 laps led and looked like he had this one locked down, but Sonnentag made the decisive move late and had just enough to hold off a furious Brandon charge through the closing laps at Knoxville. The real story though belonged to Scott Fenstermaker, who started 22nd in the feature and absolutely refused to stay back there. A relentless drive through the field netted him a +14 position gain to finish eighth, giving him the hard charger honors and proving there's still plenty of racing to be done once the green flag drops on this Knoxville surface. Giovanni Mungin set the tone early with pole position honors in qualifying before also cashing in his heat win. Consolation winner Jess Chambers punched their ticket to the feature and made the most of it, while the heat races also went to Jeremy Pray and Brendon Howell, setting up what turned into a classic battle for the top spot when the feature began.
