**Travis StClair Controls Cedar Lake in NARC Late Models Opener** Travis StClair put on a masterclass at Cedar Lake Speedway, converting pole position into a feature victory while Brandon Freeburg fought hard but couldn't find a way past. Freeburg led 35 laps and kept the pressure on throughout, but StClair had the car to beat on the dirt and sealed it when it mattered most. The real story was the chaos behind them. Zane Walters started 24th and absolutely stormed through the field, gaining 15 positions to finish ninth and claim hard charger honors. That kind of performance from dead last tells you everything you need to know about the raw speed in this field right now. Cedar Lake's dirt surface proved unforgiving and selective. The heat races sorted the grid efficiently, with Travis StClair, Chase Barbara, Thaddeus Marshall, and Kyler Bruce taking their respective victories. Devin A Thompson got the job done in the consolation race, punching a ticket to the main event. Clean execution from the pole. That's how you start a season.
