**Gregory Lamey steals the show at Eldora with a late-race masterclass** Gregory Lamey came through the consolation race and absolutely dominated the feature, taking the checkers in a performance that reminded everyone why he's one of the most dangerous drivers on the circuit. But the real story wasn't the pole sitter — it was Larry Moody, who started 23rd and muscled his way up 17 positions to finish sixth, proving that track position means nothing if you've got the car and the nerve. Zach Jaynes led the first 16 laps and looked like he had something, but when Lamey got rolling in the middle stages, it was over. The gap just kept growing. Patrick Spangler hung around in second for most of the race but couldn't find an answer. The Eldora surface was treacherous and technical, and Lamey simply had better answers than everyone else had questions. The night belonged to Lamey, plain and simple. He came out of nowhere — literally out of the consolation bracket — and delivered a clean, convincing victory on one of the toughest dirt ovals in the country.
