**Gregory Lamey Overtakes David Kalb Late to Steal Win at Weedsport** Gregory Lamey made his move when it mattered most, diving past David Kalb in the closing laps to claim the feature at Weedsport Speedway. Kalb dominated early, leading for 21 circuits and looking in control on the slick dirt, but Lamey had other plans down the stretch. The decisive pass put Lamey back in victory lane while Kalb had to settle for the podium. The real story underground was Eric Witner's assault from the back of the field. Starting deep in the pack at position 21, Witner picked off 14 cars through pure aggression and racecraft, climbing all the way to seventh by the checkered flag. That kind of run on a tight oval like Weedsport doesn't happen by accident — it was relentless driving. Jeromy Weigle earned pole honors with a 12.467-second lap in qualifying, setting himself up for a strong night, while heat winners Bruce Clingan, Jason Stehney, and David Kalb locked in solid grid positions for the main. Zach Jaynes and Justin Sherman3 took consolation wins to punch their tickets into the feature.
