**Petteri Kotovaara powers through at Lanier in NARC opener** Petteri Kotovaara took control late and held on to claim the feature at Lanier National Speedway, but the real story belonged to Rico Robles, who charged from ninth to the podium with one of the most aggressive drives of the night. Robles picked his way through traffic methodically and finished third, showcasing exactly the kind of intensity this series demands. Joe Quinn led the most laps and looked strong early, but couldn't find the answer when Kotovaara made his move. Vinnie Sansone settled into second, steady and reliable, while Todd LaBoube rounded out a competitive top five. Austin Nigh took the pole and won his heat but couldn't quite translate that speed into the main event. The competition was tight all night — two different heat winners, Robles winning the consolation and immediately making his presence known — and that's exactly what you want to see in Round 1. The field is established. Now we see who can do it again.
