**Jake Sonnentag Takes Cedar Lake in Controlled Assault** Jake Sonnentag didn't need drama to dominate Cedar Lake. He qualified with the speed to win, ran smart on the track, and executed when it mattered — leading 23 laps and crossing the stripe first without ever letting the field back into the fight. The real story belonged to Kale Heibult, who started dead last at P24 and absolutely stormed through the field to finish P10. That's 14 positions gained on pure pace and determination, the kind of run that reshapes how a driver sees themselves heading into the season's stretch. Up front, Sonnentag's car had the answer for everything Cedar Lake threw at it. Ryan Washock and Brandon Garman rounded out the podium, but they were chasing a man who had already decided the outcome.
