**Jase Shaff Had The Car To Win But Couldn't Close It Out** Jase Shaff controlled the feature at Huset's, leading 14 laps and showing the kind of pace that should have ended in a checkered flag. Instead, he watched Vinnie Sansone's car find another gear down the stretch. The momentum shifted late, and what looked like a dominant night for Shaff turned into a podium finish and lingering what-ifs. That's racing on the dirt, but it still stung. Carter Markley was the night's hard charger, picking off four spots to crack the top five from ninth on the grid. His charge proved there was passing to be had, but once again it wasn't enough to crack the front two. Kendrick Cargill took pole but couldn't convert it into a win, rounding out the top three.
