**Trevor Royer Dominates Lernerville Opener, Clingan Charges from Back** Trevor Royer controlled the feature at Lernerville from start to finish, leading 48 laps to claim the North East Modifieds Round 1 victory. The pole sitter's car had answers every time he needed them on the dirt surface, and he never gave anyone a realistic shot at the win. The real story was Bruce Clingan's audacious charge through the field. Starting 18th, Clingan methodically picked off cars and found grip others couldn't locate, ultimately finishing third and earning hard charger honors. His move from the back of the pack to the podium showed this year's field has serious depth — you can't check out early at Lernerville or someone will punish you for it. Kenneth Boory grabbed pole position in qualifying but had to claw back through the consolation race, which he won before advancing to the feature alongside the heat race winners.
