**Wade Fields Holds Off Craig Silby in Tight Cedar Lake Finish** Wade Fields refused to surrender at Cedar Lake tonight, holding off a determined Craig Silby charge to take Round 9. Silby pressured hard through the closing laps but couldn't find a way around, settling for second as Fields proved the class of the field when it mattered most. The real story was written from the back. Todd LaBoube started 22nd and absolutely demolished the field, climbing 17 spots to land fifth and set the tone for what could be a dangerous weapon moving forward. That kind of arc doesn't happen on accident — Laboube found something tonight. Keith Bradley led early, controlling nine laps before the front-runners sorted themselves out. Giovanni Mungin rounded out the top three and kept things honest throughout, but once Fields and Silby established themselves up front, the battle belonged to them.
