**Trevor Royer Dominates Kokomo, Shaff's Charge Falls Just Short** Trevor Royer controlled the feature from start to finish at Kokomo Speedway, leading 22 laps and holding off a furious late-race push from Jase Shaff to secure the Round 5 victory. Royer's command was never seriously threatened, even as the track went slick and tire degradation became the governing factor in the final laps. The real story was Shaff's drive from eighth on the grid. He picked off positions systematically through the middle stages, hitting his stride as Royer began to settle into a groove up front. Shaff made the pass count when it mattered — gaining six positions total and running down Royer in the closing laps — but couldn't find a clean way through in the waning corners. He had to settle for second, just behind a driver who had the measure of the field all night. Ethan Uy's pole position couldn't translate to feature success. After winning his heat, he faded as the race wore on, ultimately finishing fourth and watching a dominant Saturday night slip through his fingers. Jonathan Paquet and Bruce Clingan rounded out the top five.
