**Eric Witner Runs Down Justin Sherman3 in Thrilling Fairbury Finish** Justin Sherman3 controlled this one from the pole, leading the opening half and looking like he had this feature locked down. But Eric Witner had other ideas. Witner closed in relentlessly over the final laps, made his move stick, and drove away to the checkered in a performance that proved heat race speed translates to the feature stage. Josh Borowski put on a clinic for the hard charger award, blasting seven spots forward from P13 to finish sixth and remind everyone why he's dangerous when he gets racing room. The dirt stayed surprisingly consistent throughout the night at Fairbury, allowing clean passing lanes in the middle and top of the track — something we didn't see last round. Bruce Clingan and Glen MacTavish completed the podium shuffle, with Theodore York and Joe Howe2 rounding out the top five. Clean racing all night, but make no mistake: this belonged to Witner's late-race pace.
